Lucknow, September 11 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ramping up its preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. In a recent core committee meeting held in Lucknow, party leaders discussed their electoral strategy, the “Seva-Sushasan” campaign, and the upcoming state working committee meeting.
After the meeting, Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary criticized Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav’s claims about forming a government. He remarked, “I cannot stop anyone from dreaming the beautiful dreams of Mungerilal,” referring to Yadav’s aspirations.
Chaudhary noted the presence of key figures at the meeting, including BJP National General Secretary B.L. Santosh, state in-charge Vinod Tawde, co-in-charge Jagdish Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and both Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak. The meeting focused extensively on the “Seva-Sushasan” campaign, which is set to run from September 17 to October 17, featuring various programs organized by the party.
He added that discussions also covered the state working committee meeting, which will be organized soon. The focus was on how to enhance preparations for the upcoming elections and the strategic direction for the organization.
In response to Yadav’s statements about removing the BJP from power, Chaudhary emphasized, “I cannot stop anyone from dreaming Mungerilal’s beautiful dreams.”
Following the core committee meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that comprehensive discussions were held regarding forming a BJP government for the third consecutive time in Uttar Pradesh. He mentioned that several plans were finalized during the meeting, also targeting Yadav’s comments.
Maurya insisted that Yadav is mistaken, predicting that the Samajwadi Party will return to Saifai on their bicycle after 100 days. The BJP’s core committee meeting signals a renewed focus on electoral preparations and organizational activities, with party leadership emphasizing the review of ongoing campaigns and upcoming initiatives.
On Saturday, B.L. Santosh will visit the Kanpur-Bundelkhand region, where he will engage with local leaders to discuss organizational and electoral strategies, as well as review the progress of ongoing campaigns.
