Bihar Women Entrepreneurs Celebrate Reservation Bill, Emphasize Opportunities for Growth

Bhagalpur, April 6: As preparations intensify for the introduction of the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament, numerous women entrepreneurs and social workers from Bihar have expressed their joy over the central government’s decision. They view the bill as a significant step towards empowering half of the population, asserting that when given opportunities, women excel in every field.

Entrepreneur Priya Soni shared her thoughts, stating, “Women do not actually need reservation. However, if we are provided opportunities, we will not fall behind in any sector. Look at leaders like Nirmala Sitharaman. Compared to previous years, the country is showing strong growth. Providing opportunities is a positive step that will open more doors for women.”

Social activist Rupali expressed her satisfaction with the decisions made by Prime Minister Modi’s government, noting, “We are very happy that women have received reservation, which allows us to represent ourselves. Now, women from every party can participate at all levels and make their voices heard.”

Neelam Agarwal, secretary of the Lions Club, remarked, “I believe this is a very good decision, as it will give women the chance to advance. India has many capable women who can do excellent work, but they often lack opportunities. This will provide them with that chance. Often, women progress with the support of their husbands or sons, but achieving success on their own would be even better.”

Shobha Agarwal highlighted the importance of PM Modi’s decision to implement 33 percent reservation for women, stating, “This is a great initiative. Until now, women have not had the right opportunities to advance. It is essential for women to stand on their own and participate in decision-making.”
