
New Delhi, April 15: Bihar’s former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, extended their congratulations to Samrat Chaudhary upon his swearing-in as the 24th Chief Minister of Bihar. Kumar expressed hope for rapid development in the state under Chaudhary’s leadership.
In a post on the social media platform X, Nitish Kumar wrote, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Samrat Chaudhary on taking oath as the new Chief Minister of Bihar today. I am confident that under your leadership, Bihar will develop even faster and join the ranks of the most developed states in the country.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also shared his good wishes, stating, “Congratulations to Samrat Chaudhary on taking the oath of office as Chief Minister of Bihar. I wish you a successful tenure as the first Chief Minister from the Bharatiya Janata Party in Bihar. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar, the NDA has been serving the people of Bihar with dedication, and I believe that under your leadership, this momentum will only increase. The NDA’s double-engine government will work with renewed energy towards building a safe and developed Bihar.”
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated Chaudhary and his newly sworn-in Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav in a post on X. He remarked, “This new NDA team in Bihar is a blend of energy and experience. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this government will meet the expectations of the people of Bihar and elevate the state’s development to new heights. I wish this new team in Bihar a very successful term.”
Additionally, Union Minister for Highways and Transport Nitin Gadkari expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Chaudhary and the new Deputy Chief Ministers, stating, “I believe that under your leadership and the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar will become even more prosperous and reach new heights of development. Best wishes for your successful tenure.”
It is noteworthy that following Nitish Kumar’s resignation, a new government has been formed in Bihar, with Samrat Chaudhary taking the oath of office as Chief Minister. Governor Syed Ata Hasnain administered the oath, while JD(U) leaders Bijendra Yadav and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary took their oaths as Deputy Chief Ministers.
