Patna, May 11: Bihar Minister Ramkripal Yadav has addressed allegations made by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav regarding a recent incident in Muzaffarpur. Yadav asserted that the rule of law prevails in Bihar and that action will be taken against those who violate it.
Tejashwi Yadav had shared a video claiming that a BJP legislator, along with his supporters, assaulted an ordinary citizen in Ward 48 of Muzaffarpur. He raised concerns about the state’s law and order situation and criticized Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.
In response, Ramkripal Yadav stated, “There is a rule of law in Bihar. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has made it clear that the rule of law will be upheld. The government will operate on a zero-tolerance policy. Action will be taken against lawbreakers.”
Additionally, Minister Yadav commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to address the global crisis. He noted, “There is ongoing warfare. In this context, Prime Minister Modi has expressed concern. The entire nation is affected by the war. During this crisis, the Prime Minister is making efforts to help the nation recover. We faced a crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic as well, and he appealed to the public then too. This is another time of crisis, and once again, PM Modi is reaching out for support.”
He emphasized that oil is imported from other countries. Given the current situation, PM Modi’s appeal is crucial. “I believe everyone should heed PM Modi’s call and adopt his suggestions for the nation’s benefit,” he added.
Regarding PM Modi’s visit to the Somnath Temple, Ramkripal Yadav remarked, “The Somnath Temple is historic. PM Modi is visiting there to pray for the welfare and prosperity of all citizens.”
On the occasion of Himanta Biswa Sarma’s swearing-in ceremony, he extended his congratulations, stating, “Best wishes to Himanta Biswa Sarma as he becomes the Chief Minister of Assam again. I also thank the people of Assam for re-electing him. Under his leadership, Assam is progressing.”
At the inauguration of the Mandiri drain in Patna, he said, “The residents of Patna have long been troubled by drainage issues. They demanded the construction of this drain, and Nitin Naveen has fulfilled this demand through the government. I want to express my gratitude to the government for this.”
