Patna, May 18: The Bihar government has bolstered its fire safety services by introducing 80 high-tech fire vehicles. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary flagged off these vehicles on Monday, marking a significant step towards strengthening the state’s firefighting capabilities.
During the event, CM Chaudhary emphasized the critical role of the fire department in preventing disasters from escalating. The firefighters showcased their readiness and courage, underscoring that fire services are not just a duty but a vital mission to save lives.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government prioritizes public safety and is continuously integrating modern resources into the firefighting system. The goal is to ensure that fire engines and teams reach the scene within five to ten minutes of receiving an emergency call. To achieve this, the government has introduced advanced technology and faster vehicles into the fire service.
Chaudhary noted that good governance has been established in Bihar, and the state is now on the path to prosperity. He highlighted that economic growth will come through industrial development. He encouraged those from Bihar living elsewhere to return and invest in local businesses, which will further accelerate the state’s progress.
Regarding law and order, he assured that Bihar is a state of good governance, granting police the autonomy to perform their duties effectively. He affirmed that no individual can take the law into their own hands, and the police will continue to uphold law and order.
The event at Gandhi Maidan in Patna also saw the launch of an AI-based control room, aimed at enhancing the response capability of fire services not only in urban areas but also in rural regions.
The inauguration was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Minister Vijendra Yadav, and several senior officials from the administration and fire department.
