Patna, May 6: The Bihar government is poised for a cabinet expansion tomorrow, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah expected to attend the ceremony. Several central ministers and key leaders from the NDA will also be present, as confirmed by Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi.

Sanjay Sarawagi stated that Prime Minister Modi will witness the cabinet expansion in Bihar. Notable attendees will include Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda, and the party’s national president Nitin Nawin. NDA leaders, including Nitish Kumar and Jitan Ram Manjhi, will also participate, along with all NDA MPs from Bihar and central ministers representing the state.

He expressed that there is significant enthusiasm among party leaders and workers regarding PM Modi’s visit. People are expected to gather on the streets to welcome him. Preparations for the event are underway on a large scale.

Meanwhile, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Chaudhary mentioned that the cabinet expansion has been anticipated since last week. He welcomed the arrival of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, who are returning after victories in West Bengal and Assam, which is a source of joy for the party.

Currently, preparations for the cabinet expansion in Patna are in the final stages. Arrangements for thousands of attendees have been made, and posters welcoming PM Modi, Amit Shah, and Nitin Nawin have been displayed throughout Patna, featuring the slogan “Developed India, Developed Bihar.”

Sources indicate that the party leadership has finalized the list of ministers, paving the way for the cabinet expansion in Bihar.

Earlier, Samrat Chaudhary returned to Patna after completing his visit to New Delhi on Monday. During his time in the capital, he held several important meetings with senior NDA leaders. The Chief Minister met with Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and other senior leaders of the alliance during his visit.
