Patna, April 28: Bihar’s Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, asserted on Tuesday that the state is rapidly advancing towards industrial progress. He outlined the government’s objective to provide better skills, modern resources, and a conducive environment for the youth, enabling them not only to secure jobs but also to become self-employers.
Initiatives have been launched in Patna to boost industrial development, technological innovation, and the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, along with Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, inaugurated a technology center in Bihta (Patna). Additionally, extension centers developed in Muzaffarpur, Rohtas, Darbhanga, and Munger were also inaugurated.
On this occasion, a Special Vendor Development Program under the National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub was launched. This program is a significant step towards integrating entrepreneurs from marginalized communities into the mainstream economy.
The Chief Minister stated that this center will elevate the vision of ‘Make in Bihar’ by fostering investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The technology center in Bihta is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, which will strengthen both engineering and manufacturing sectors, providing numerous job opportunities for the youth of the state.
Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi remarked that today marks an important chapter in Bihar’s industrial development history. The technology center and its extension centers in Bihta will not only provide modern technical training but also empower local youth and entrepreneurs, connecting them to national and global markets. This initiative is a concrete step towards realizing the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India) at the grassroots level.
During the event, toolkits were distributed to beneficiaries of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and the Village Industries Development Scheme. Additionally, checks were handed out to beneficiaries of the PMEGP scheme, and certificates were awarded to beneficiaries of the SC/ST Hub scheme.
