Pune, Apr 2 : The Sadhu Vaswani Mission held a programme of ‘bhoomi puja’ of the sacred ‘samadhi’ of Dada J P Vaswani here on auspicious occasion of ‘Cheti Chand’ – the Sindhi New Year, on Saturday. The ‘samadhi’ will be built at the same spot where Sadhu Vaswani’s sacred pyre was lit. A model of the que design planned for the sacred ‘samadhi’ was also displayed. The day began with recitations from the scriptures and kirtan — 108 havans and 108 times recitation of the Gayatri Mantra. A ‘shastra puja (worshipping of tools), inscribing Dada on them, was also performed. The shrine will become a place of pilgrimage where many come to pay their homage to the One (Sadhu Vaswani) whom they revered and from whose flowing fountain of love they experienced joy and peace, a press release said.
