Bhagwant Mann meets Arvind Kejriwal, invites him to his swearing-in ceremony


Chandigarh/Delhi, Mar 11 : After stellar show of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab Assembly elections, CM-elect Bhagwant Mann reached Delhi to meet Party’s National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday. Mann was joined by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Punjab affairs co-in-charge Raghav Chadha in the meeting at the residence of the AAP supremo. The AAP leaders shared their rejoice over their party’s historic triumph in Punjab where they bagged 92 seats out of 117 to form the government in the state. In the meeting it was decided that Mann and Kejriwal will reach ‘Guru ki Nagri’ Amritsar on March 13 to pay their obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Mandir and Sri Ram Tirath Mandir and to thank Waheguru for this success. After that both leaders will conduct a road show in Amritsar to celebrate their victory among people and to thank the voters. Mann will take oath as the Chief Minister of the state on March 16 at Khatkar Kalan, ancestral village of freedom fighter Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh. Mann, who registered victory with a huge margin of 58,206 votes from Dhuri, had announced from the terrace of his house that the oath-swearing ceremony will be held in Khatkar Kalan of Nawanshahr district. Mann invited Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his swearing-in ceremony on March 16 as AAP’s first Chief Minister of Punjab. DB SHK1917
