Bajaj Finserv inches up on signing MoU with Maharashtra government

Bajaj Finserv is currently trading at Rs. 1459.30, up by 2.75 points or 0.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 1456.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1472.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1472.95 and Rs. 1456.80 respectively. So far 7459 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1846.00 on 13-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1077.70 on 01-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1472.95 and Rs. 1439.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 232782.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.78%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.13% and 25.09% respectively.

Maharashtra government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bajaj Finserv under which the non-banking finance company will invest Rs 5,000 crore in Pune which is expected to create 40,000 jobs. After signing the MoU, Pune was gradually becoming a hub for financial services and the latest development involving Bajaj Finserve would boost the sector.

Bajaj Finserv has established itself as a financial power house with interests in insurance, lending, asset management and wealth management.
