Bhopal, March 7: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced that Badranagar in Ujjain district will become part of the Indore-Ujjain Metropolitan Area. The Chief Minister made this announcement during a discussion with the residents of Badranagar at his residence on Friday.
CM Yadav stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is reaching new heights on the global stage. He emphasized the special significance of Madhya Pradesh in the country’s development journey. The state government is making remarkable efforts across all sectors and communities. Badranagar will also play a leading role in this development.
Additionally, Prime Minister Modi recently laid the foundation stone for the country’s first PM Mitra Park in Dhar, which will benefit the residents of Badranagar through its mega industrial park in the textile sector.
The Chief Minister announced that financial assistance will be provided to Badranagar’s gaushalas (cow shelters) to acquire machinery for stubble management. This initiative aims to help resolve stubble disposal issues and ensure adequate fodder supply for the gaushalas. Furthermore, he declared a grant of one lakh rupees to each gymnasium in the Badranagar area as an encouragement.
A new two-lane road will be constructed near the Serious Dam, connecting Nagda. This project, worth approximately 150 crore rupees, will significantly benefit local residents by reducing the distance to Ratlam by 40 kilometers.
The new road will also facilitate the upcoming Simhastha 2028 event. An airport is being constructed in Ujjain, which will also benefit Badranagar. In the coming years, connectivity to Badranagar will improve with Ratlam, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. Roads are the foundation of development, and these new routes will open doors for the growth of Badranagar and the entire region.
