Ayodhya Prepares for Grand 10th Deepotsav Celebration with CM Yogis Visit
Ayodhyas 10th Deepotsav preparations are in full swing, with CM Yogi set to review on November 2 ahead of the event on November 7.

Ayodhya, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : In Ayodhya, preparations for the 10th Deepotsav are nearing completion, with the main festivities scheduled for November 7, the eve of Diwali. This year’s celebration is particularly significant as Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend as the chief guest for the first time. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to visit Ayodhya on November 2 to assess the final arrangements.
Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi provided updates on the event’s preparations. He emphasized that CM Yogi has a tradition of reviewing the arrangements prior to the festival, which is why his visit is anticipated.
Expressing excitement about Amit Shah’s attendance, Mayor Tripathi stated, “The Home Minister’s presence at this year’s Deepotsav is noteworthy. He is a leader who has resolved longstanding issues in the country, including the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir and tackling the Naxalite problem in central India.”
He further added, “We feel honored to welcome Amit Shah, a leader committed to making the nation drug-free.”
This year’s Deepotsav is especially important for the Yogi government, marking a decade of celebrations. Plans are underway to illuminate Ram Ki Paidi at Saryu Ghat with millions of lamps. The administration has also implemented stringent security measures to ensure the event runs smoothly.
For the past nine years, Ayodhya’s Deepotsav has set new records, and with Home Minister Amit Shah’s presence, this year’s event is expected to be even more historic.
