Thiruvananthapuram/Kochi, Mar 4 : Australian High Commissioner to India Barry O’ Farrell on Friday called on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and discussed about collaboration in the education sector. Meanwhile, CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury on Thursday clarified his party’s stand on policy changes and investment proposals in Kerala’s education sector. He opined that the state’s higher education must be modernised as the State Government can’t block private investment coming to the education sector.
