AU Small Finance Bank shines as its total deposits up 49% in Q3FY22

AU Small Finance Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1148.45, up by 53.80 points or 4.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 1094.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1130.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1157.80 and Rs. 1120.00 respectively. So far 32352 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1389.00 on 24-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 843.00 on 27-Jan-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1157.80 and Rs. 1001.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 34346.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.39%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 53.35% and 18.26% respectively.

AU Small Finance Bank’s total deposits grew 49% to Rs 44,278 crore as of December 31, 2021 (Q3FY22), as compared to Rs 29,708 crore on a yearly basis. On a quarterly basis, the deposits stood at Rs 39,034 crore as of September 2021. Gross Advance stood at Rs 40,723 crore as of December 31, 2021, posting a 33% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms against Rs 30,523 crore as of December 31, 2020 and in quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis stood at Rs 36,405 crore in September 2021.

Loan Assets under management (AUM) stood at Rs 42,027 crore as of December 31, 2021, posting a 27% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms against Rs 33,222 crore as of December 31, 2020. The CASA ratio stood at 39% as of December 31, 2021 versus 30% as of September 2021.

AU Small Finance Bank is a small finance bank (SFB) that has recently transitioned from a prominent, retail focused nonbanking finance company (NBFC), which primarily served low and middle-income individuals and businesses that have limited or no access to formal banking and finance channels.
