Atlanta Dream Sell Out State Farm Arena for WNBA Finals Game 3
The Atlanta Dream have sold out State Farm Arena for Game 3 of the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries.

The Atlanta Dream reported a sellout of the 17,000-seat State Farm Arena for Game 3 of the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries. The game is set for Wednesday evening at 8 p.m.
This comes after a last-minute arena change that allowed both Game 3 and Game 4 to be played at State Farm Arena. Games were originally scheduled for Gateway Center, which has a capacity of only 3,500. The WNBA adjusted game times following the announcement on October 13.
According to Front Office Sports, the Dream averaged less than 10,000 fans per playoff game at State Farm Arena. This sellout shows a significant shift in fan support as the team competes for the championship.
With the series tied at one game apiece, the atmosphere at the arena is expected to be electric. Angel Reese delivered a standout performance in Game 2, helping the Dream secure a victory after losing Game 1. The Valkyries, in their second season, have also shown resilience in the series.
Fans from both teams have traveled to Atlanta, with Valkyries supporters coming from San Francisco to cheer. Organizations like KQED report dedicated fans arranging meetups to foster team spirit while exploring local culture.
State Farm Arena is busy this week, preparing for multiple events, including the opening home game for the Atlanta Hawks. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the venue is recognized for handling a packed schedule smoothly.
If the Finals extend to a Game 6, further schedule adjustments may be needed due to conflicts with the Hawks’ games at the same venue.
