
New Delhi, May 20: Lieutenant General Prateek Sharma, the Army Commander of the Northern Command, visited the forward areas of the Sundarbani sector along the Line of Control (LOC). During his visit, he conducted a comprehensive review of the current security situation and operational readiness in the region.
He assessed the vigilance of the soldiers stationed at the border, their strategic deployment, and their capability to handle any challenging circumstances. Lieutenant General Sharma engaged in discussions with personnel from the Indian Army and the Border Security Force (BSF). He praised the courage, determination, and dedication of the troops operating under difficult conditions.
