Arjun Das Discusses Evolving Relationships and Personal Space in Modern Society

Actor Arjun Das shares insights on love, marriage, and the importance of personal space in contemporary relationships.

Mumbai, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : Actor Arjun Das believes that self-sufficiency and successful relationships are not mutually exclusive. He suggests that as women gain more economic and social independence, there is a growing maturity in relationships, with an increased respect for personal space. During a recent media interaction, he openly discussed the balance between love, marriage, and independence.

When asked about the perception that love and marriage do not thrive among self-sufficient individuals, Das responded, “I believe that couples who are self-sufficient can have successful relationships. I prefer to stay away from such discussions, but since you asked, I’ll share my thoughts. I have friends who are deeply in love with their partners, and their marriages are thriving. In this new era, many people are meeting a diverse range of individuals. It may take time to find out whether they are comfortable with each other.”

He further elaborated, “Today, women are becoming self-reliant. People desire their own space, but we are entering a time where individuals respect each other’s space and understand the importance of supporting each other in their journeys. I don’t believe that love will ever change.”

Das stars alongside Aishwarya Lakshmi in the Tamil romantic drama web series “Love.” The series explores the complexities of modern dating and relationships. It centers around Katha Tara Krishnan (played by Lakshmi), who runs a dating platform and believes that algorithms can create lasting relationships. In contrast, Matthew Jebaraj (played by Das) trusts in the ease and instincts of relationships. Their differing ideologies lead them to face a 60-day challenge that tests their views on love and relationships.
