Mumbai, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Famed singer and composer Arijit Singh has announced that he will watch the reality show “Bigg Boss” for the first time, and the reason is contestant Kazi Taukeer. The two were contestants together on the 2005 reality show “Fame Gurukul.”
In a post on social media platform X, Arijit expressed his excitement, stating, “I have to watch Bigg Boss for the first time in my life because our rockstar Kazi is there.”
Kazi has already garnered significant attention with his engaging moments on the show, including his catchy phrase, “I’m a rockstar baby, aau!” which has gone viral online.
Earlier in May, Kazi praised Arijit on social media, highlighting the singer’s lack of malice, insecurity, or jealousy. He shared a clip from a visit to Arijit’s hometown in Jiaganj, West Bengal, where the two were seen riding a scooter and reminiscing about their reality show experiences.
In the video, Kazi remarked, “What can I say about Arijit? He has no malice, no insecurity, and no jealousy. He is filled with passion. He is genuine, and yes, he is a genius, as we all know. Much love to the people of Murshidabad, especially everyone in Jiaganj. They have given me so much love. Arijit’s staff and family are such good people.”
Kazi also mentioned that Arijit has established an academy in Jiaganj for children aspiring to play cricket.
He added, “Even after getting injured, he bowled three or four more overs. We are old-school; we never give up. He never tires. Later, from 8:30 PM to 1 AM, he was busy with music practice and editing. He is completely immersed in it.”
