A fascinating moment is set to unfold in the upcoming episode of “Wheel of Fortune,” where Archana Puran Singh candidly discusses a habit that many perceive as frugality.
During the show, Archana shared, “When I go to a restaurant, I prefer to save the large tissue papers instead of throwing them away after one use. I keep them for later use, like removing makeup or cleaning. While some see this as being stingy, I believe it’s about preventing waste.”
She further explained, “I don’t believe in discarding old items. If something is old, it can often be repurposed. For instance, old clothes can be turned into dusters or mops. I still have clothes that are 25 to 30 years old. People often advise me to throw them away as fashion changes, but I think fashion never truly disappears; it returns over time. Hence, I prefer to keep my old clothes.”
In the same episode, Akshay Kumar reminisces about his early struggles. He recalled a time when he and Archana’s husband, Parmeet Sethi, were both searching for work.
Akshay said, “We used to sit outside renowned filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s office for hours, waiting for opportunities. We had no work at the time, and worries about the future loomed large. Yet, during those tough days, hope and friendship prevailed. Although it was a challenging time, looking back, those days are the most memorable.”
Archana added that later, Akshay Kumar and Parmeet Sethi worked together in the hit film “Dhadkan.”
In a light-hearted moment, Akshay jokingly mentioned he heard that Archana once stole a bathrobe from a hotel. Archana responded in kind, saying, “If Akshay can prove that, I’ll give him my bungalow at Mud Island.”
