APL Apollo Tubes inches up on signing MoU with IIT Roorkee

APL Apollo Tubes is currently trading at Rs. 1568.90, up by 4.50 points or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 1564.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1568.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1568.90 and Rs. 1563.00 respectively.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1682.65 on 05-Jul-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1009.05 on 15-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1600.00 and Rs. 1531.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3883.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.84% and 47.98% respectively.

APL Apollo Tubes has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Roorkee to provide a platform for research and training facilities to both IIT Roorkee students and APL Apollo personnel, besides recruitment.

The MoU also aims at providing sponsorships to IIT Roorkee for key projects and prominent research work. The collaboration is further aimed at fostering innovative designs as per the ever-changing requirements of the future, simultaneously training of APL Apollo employees by IIT Roorkee.
