New Delhi, March 15: The AOC AGON 7 Pro AGP277KX has been launched, targeting competitive esports players and high-end PC gaming enthusiasts. This 27-inch gaming monitor features a Fast IPS panel with a unique dual-mode display system, offering both ultra-high resolution and rapid refresh rates.
Users can easily switch between two performance modes with just one click. The monitor can run games at a stunning 5K resolution (5120 × 2880) at 180Hz, perfect for visually rich AAA titles. Alternatively, it can switch to a 2K resolution (2560 × 1440) at 350Hz, ideal for esports where frame rate and responsiveness are crucial. The 5K resolution provides 77 percent more pixels than 4K, enhancing texture detail, clarity of distant objects, and overall image quality. Beyond gaming, this high resolution is beneficial for productivity, allowing users to manage multiple windows without scaling issues.
AOC has incorporated STW wide-viewing-angle compensation optical technology, ensuring color accuracy even from side angles. The panel offers a 178-degree viewing angle and features an LR low-reflection layer that minimizes surface reflections to just 1.8 percent, enhancing visibility in bright environments.
Performance tuning emphasizes clarity during fast motion. The display utilizes AOC’s self-developed Overdrive tuning, achieving a 1ms GTG response time. It supports NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and Adaptive-Sync technologies, reducing screen tearing and stuttering during intense gameplay.
Color performance is another highlight. The monitor is factory calibrated with a DeltaE below 1, covering 100 percent of the sRGB and 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and it holds DisplayHDR 400 certification. In HDR mode, peak brightness reaches 500 nits.
For connectivity, the AGP277KX includes DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and a USB-C port with 65W power delivery, allowing seamless connections to desktops, laptops, and gaming consoles.
