Mumbai, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : Anu Malik, the renowned music composer, has made a special appearance as a judge on the singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026’. During his time on the show, he expressed his views on music, emphasizing that a beautiful song requires not just melody and rhythm, but also deep emotions. He believes that a singer’s ability to convey feelings through their performance is crucial for connecting with the audience.
This season marks Malik’s return to the ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ stage after several years. He has been closely associated with the show, and this will be his fourth time serving as a judge. Other judges for this season include Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan, and Kumar Sanu, while actor Shreyas Talpade is hosting the show.
Reflecting on his comeback and his thoughts on music, Malik stated, “I have been connected with ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ for many years, so returning to this show brings back many beautiful memories. Being around music and meeting young singers who are full of passion and talent is always a joy.”
He further explained, “I have always believed that singing is not just about notes and beats; it’s about the emotion you bring to the song and how it makes the listener feel. Every singer has their unique style and story, which is what makes music so beautiful.”
Malik highlighted the individuality of each singer, noting that some captivate audiences with their voice, while others infuse their emotions into the song, allowing listeners to connect with their performance. This is why the same song can be interpreted differently by various artists, creating unique experiences each time.

It’s the ‘musical abode of Hindustan’. I am excited to be part of this musical celebration and to witness the talent of the new generation of singers,” he added.
