Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro and Pro Max: New TWS Earbuds with AI Enhancements Leaked

Mumbai, March 17: Anker is gearing up to expand its Soundcore audio lineup with two new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds: the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max. These details come from the well-known tipster AnkerInsider, who provided insights into models that may soon surpass last year’s Liberty 5.

Both earbuds are said to enhance the standard Soundcore Liberty 5, which currently retails for approximately $100. A standout upgrade includes a new AI-driven chip named Anker Thus. This compute-in-memory processor is designed to facilitate features like AI audio upscaling, enhancing clarity and detail in music playback.

The Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro (model D1203) is focused on elevating everyday listening experiences. It is expected to feature Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation 4.0, an improvement over the ANC 3.0 system found in the standard Liberty 5. Other notable features include Dolby Atmos spatial audio, Bluetooth 6.1 with multipoint connectivity, and an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

A unique addition is the charging case equipped with a built-in touchscreen. This feature allows users to control playback, switch ANC modes, check battery levels, and manage connected devices directly from the case. Battery life is projected at 6.5 hours with ANC activated (up to 28 hours total with the case) or 10 hours without ANC, totaling a combined 45 hours. Charging options will include USB-C, fast charging, and wireless charging. The Liberty 5 Pro is anticipated to launch at a price of $170 in Black and White.

The Liberty 5 Pro Max (model D1204) is expected to retain most of these features while introducing additional capabilities. Its charging case is said to function as a portable voice recorder, potentially utilizing up to eight microphones for audio capture. The earbuds may also support voiceprint recognition, enabling the case to identify the owner’s voice.

Pricing for the Pro Max is expected to be around $230, with color options available in Black and Gold.
