Chandigarh, May 7: Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij marked the first anniversary of ‘Operation Sindoor’ with a stern message, emphasizing that the day serves as a warning to the world. He stated that those who dare to look towards India will no longer be spared. The era of merely paying tributes after terrorist attacks is over, he asserted.
Vij highlighted that decisive action was taken following the murder of innocent people in Pahalgam. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that the country is now in strong hands. Any attempt to provoke India will be met with a robust response. After terrorists targeted Indians, India retaliated against Pakistan, making it clear that there will be no compromise on national security.
Targeting Pakistan, Vij remarked that it resorts to false propaganda and films to mislead its own people, but the world knows the truth. Through ‘Operation Sindoor’, India has made it clear that terrorists will find no safe haven anywhere.
On the national song ‘Vande Mataram’, Anil Vij stated that it holds the same respect as the national anthem. He warned that strict action should be taken against anyone who disrespects it. He urged every citizen in India to honor ‘Vande Mataram’.
In response to allegations made by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann regarding explosions in Punjab, Vij expressed sharp criticism. He labeled such statements as irresponsible and challenged Mann to present concrete evidence if he possesses any. Vij further stated that if Mann cannot substantiate his claims, he should resign from his position. He accused Mann of making statements under the influence of power, which is unbecoming of a Chief Minister.
