Mumbai, August 10: Actress Amruta Khanvilkar has recently decided to take a firm stand against the rumors circulating on social media regarding her marriage to actor Himanshu Malhotra. Reports have claimed that the couple has been living separately for some time. In response to these allegations, Amruta has chosen to take legal action.
Amruta’s legal team has issued a statement on social media, stating, “There are baseless, defamatory claims being shared about the actress’s personal life on various online, social media, and digital platforms. While everyone has the right to express their opinions, spreading unverified information, false accusations, or misleading statements about Amruta will not be tolerated.”
The couple first met in 2004 on the set of the TV show ‘India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj.’ Their friendship blossomed into love over the years, and after dating for several years, they tied the knot in January 2015.
Shortly after their wedding, Amruta and Himanshu appeared together on the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 7,’ where they participated as a couple and received much love from the audience.
Now, years into their marriage, Amruta has issued this legal statement in light of the various rumors surrounding their personal lives.
