Palghar, Apr 16 : Maharashtra Ex-servicemen Welfare Minister and Palghar guardian Minister Dada Bhuse said a special drive, “Amrut Jawan Abhiyan” to be held in the state between May 1 and June 15 to clear the pending works of soldiers in the country. Addressing a meeting of senior officials of the district on Friday Mr Bhuse said the drive has been undertaken on the occasion of 75th Independence Day of the country for immediate disposal of pending works,. During the period special camps will be held to clear pending works of the jawans, with departments like revenue, land acquisition rehabilitation, various such certificates, complaints from police department, various schemes of rural development department, proposals for availing various schemes from agriculture department, loan cases from co-operative department, transport department license , etc etc. Besides the district committee Taluka level committees have been set up to resolve various pending works of the Jawans. The District level committee will be chaired by District Collector, Chief Executive Officer Zilla Parishad, Superintendent of Police, The minister also asked the government officials to hold an “Amrut Jawan Sanman Din” on the third Monday of every month on the lines of the Lokshai Din. Each department will have a time limit for redressal of pending grievances and it will be monitored by the District Collector, the minister added. XR NV SY 1349
