Amit Shahs Statement on Uniform Civil Code Sparks Nationwide Discussion

New Delhi, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : The discussion around the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) has intensified following recent comments from Union Home Minister Amit Shah. His statement has resonated across the country, prompting reactions from various NDA allies. Ministers from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have endorsed the UCC, emphasizing its significance for national interest and advocating for its prompt implementation.

Amit Shah announced that the UCC would be enforced in all 21 NDA and BJP-led states before the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. Anil Rajbhar, a minister from Uttar Pradesh, welcomed Shah’s remarks, stating that they honor his vision for the country. He expressed optimism that Uttar Pradesh would be among the first to implement the UCC, aligning with the intentions of the Home Minister and the Prime Minister.

In Patna, Bihar minister Ram Kripal Yadav also highlighted the UCC as a crucial legislation. He noted that Amit Shah has initiated steps toward its implementation. Yadav mentioned that discussions have taken place between Shah and Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, indicating a collaborative effort to rally support among coalition partners. He assured that consultations with alliance leaders would precede any moves to implement the law in Bihar.
