
New Delhi, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : On September 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various leaders extended their warm wishes to citizens on the auspicious occasion of Paryushan, one of the most sacred festivals in Jainism. They also took the opportunity to seek forgiveness for any unintentional wrongs.
In a post on social media, Modi stated, “Paryushan reminds us that forgiveness and compassion strengthen every relationship. On this sacred occasion, may humility guide us and kindness be the foundation of all our actions. Michhami Dukkadam!”
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also shared a message on social media, urging everyone to seek forgiveness for any hurt caused through thoughts, words, or actions, whether intentional or not. He concluded with a heartfelt “Michhami Dukkadam!”
Delhi government minister Pravesh Sahib Singh extended his greetings, highlighting the festival’s message of forgiveness, compassion, and self-purification. He wished everyone a Paryushan that deepens love, harmony, and introspection in their lives, bringing peace and prosperity to all.
Former Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan conveyed his warm wishes to the nation, emphasizing the eternal messages of truth, non-violence, compassion, restraint, and forgiveness from Lord Mahavir Swami. He expressed hope that the festival would foster feelings of forgiveness, friendship, love, and peace among all, inspiring collective harmony and goodwill.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also shared his greetings, echoing the sentiments of self-reflection and moral conduct inspired by Lord Mahavir Swami’s teachings. He wished for the festival to enhance feelings of love, peace, and friendship within society.
