Mumbai, May 19: Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde praised Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his significant efforts in making Bastar Naxal-free.
In a post on the social media platform X, Shinde expressed his admiration, stating, “Congratulations to Amit Shah. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, you have accomplished the historic task of completely liberating Bastar from Naxalism. The sacrifices of our martyrs are now bearing fruit, as the golden light of development spreads across every corner of Bastar. With the eradication of red terror, plans for rapid development in roads, employment, education, healthcare, and animal husbandry are being prepared. This is the greatest news of the century for the people of Chhattisgarh, especially for the tribal brothers and sisters of Bastar. Bastar will now symbolize development and prosperity. The dream of a Naxal-free India is being realized through Prime Minister Modi’s vision and Amit Shah’s unwavering determination. The entire nation takes pride in this achievement due to Amit Shah’s selfless service.”
Additionally, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde supported a fuel conservation initiative. He opted to travel to Delhi on an Air India passenger flight instead of a private jet. He departed from Mumbai at 4 PM on Tuesday.
At Mumbai Airport, Shinde received a warm welcome. Many people took photos with him, and several approached him to present memorandums. Shinde interacted with everyone, accepted their good wishes, and proceeded to his flight.
A special review meeting for the ‘Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0’ has been organized by the Central Urban Development Department in Delhi. Shinde is traveling to participate in this meeting. Typically, he travels by private jet, but this time he chose to fly as a regular citizen on a passenger plane.
