Kishanganj : The two-day visit of union Home Minister Amit Shah to Bihar has increased the heat in the politics of Bihar. While addressing a big rally in Poornea on Friday, Shah called upon the BJP leaders and workers to gear up in view of the preparations for the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, while meeting the common workers in Kishanganj and talking about the political ground of Bihar.
Told BJP leaders in Kishanganj the mantra to win elections. After the meeting with BJP MLAs-MPs, Amit Shah had an informal conversation with the journalists. During this, the journalists wanted to know from him that who would be the chief minister’s face of BJP in Bihar? He said that at present the eyes of the BJP are on the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024. In Bihar, the BJP is expected to win at least 32 seats and to fulfill that mission, the BJP is engaged.
Shah said that who will be the Chief Minister’s face of BJP in Bihar, will be announced after the Lok Sabha elections and the election will be fought under his leadership.
He said that they have full hope that BJP will form government with full majority on its own in Bihar. He said they are not a hurry for this, right now their entire focus is on the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024.
Amit Shah also targeted Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar. He said that both Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav are misleading Bihar. On the question of Nitish Kumar’s race for the post of Prime Minister, he said that Nitish Kumar is nowhere in the race for the Prime Minister. At the same time, he said that Nitish Kumar will not contest the Lok Sabha elections from anywhere, if the opposition has any candidate, it would be Rahul Gandhi. On the question of Nitish Kumar joining BJP again, Amit Shah said, now all avenues for Nitish Kumar to return to BJP are closed. Nitish Kumar himself has left the BJP’s support, is there anything left to come back now? He said when Nitish left RJD last time, it was understandable, but they did not understand him leaving BJP.
When Shah was asked whether he talked to Nitish Kumar before the alliance broke up in Bihar? He said that they had called Nitish and asked about what was being heard. He negated them saying that Lalan Singh keeps on speaking like this. Still, Shah said that they asked Nitish to inform them first in case of that happening. He said there is courtesy in politics too, but Nitish said no, he was not going anywhere.
Shah taled about the journalists the reason why the Bharatiya Janata Party could not strengthen in Bihar like other states. He said that the party could not grow in Bihar because they were always attached with alliances. He said not that on one hand there for them, there is also a big opportunity that BJP comes to power in Bihar single-handedly. He said that they will surely achieve this with the sincerity and commitment of their workers. The same union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with the workers and officials of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Vidyarthi Parishad along with all the MPs, MLAs and MLCs of Bihar.
Discussions were held regarding Bangladesh infiltration, cattle smuggling and cow protection in this meeting. He directed the Legislative Council Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal to constitute a committee on cattle smuggling at the state level. After a meeting of about half an hour, Amit Shah held a meeting with all the MPs, MLAs and MLCs of Bihar.
