
Greater Noida, March 14: On March 14, 2026, Alok Kumar, the Additional Chief Secretary of Industrial Development and Chairman of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, conducted a ground inspection of the proposed Raya Urban Center and Heritage City project in Mathura. The visit aimed to expedite the project’s progress, and Kumar instructed officials to complete related tasks within the set deadlines.
Kumar first inspected approximately 64 hectares of land designated for industrial use at the Raya Urban Center. He also reviewed the Heritage City project site, gathering detailed information from officials about ongoing preparations and potential development activities. During the inspection, he examined the site of the proposed Vrindavan bypass, as suggested by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and discussed the project’s progress with the officials.
Following the inspection, Kumar held a meeting with officials at the regional office of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority in Vrindavan to conduct a comprehensive review of the projects. He emphasized the importance of the Raya Urban Center and Heritage City project for the overall development of the region, urging the swift completion of land acquisition processes to ensure timely implementation.
During the meeting, Chief Executive Officer Shailendra Kumar Bhatia presented a detailed overview of the proposed Heritage City project, the parking arrangements for the Banke Bihari Ji Temple, and the authority’s residential and commercial plans. He also shared insights on various aspects of the projects, development plans, and potential facilities.
Other senior officials from the authority were present at this meeting. Participants included Additional Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Kumar, OSD Shailendra Kumar Singh, and GM of Projects Rajendra Bhati, along with officials from the project, planning, and electrical departments who presented progress reports related to the projects.
Kumar directed the officials to ensure that all departments work in coordination to expedite the projects, thereby promoting regional development, employment, and tourism.
