Mirzapur, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Kazi Nazm Ali has expressed his approval of Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav’s recent statement regarding the challenges faced by madrasas. He emphasized the need for solutions not just for modernizing teaching staff, but also for issues related to degrees, appointments, pensions, and recognition.
In response to Yadav’s remarks about addressing these problems, Nazm Ali praised the acknowledgment of madrasas and the focus on teacher appointments and salary restoration. However, he stressed that the issues are multifaceted and require a comprehensive approach.
Nazm Ali also highlighted the significance of the Kamal and Fazil degrees. He argued that the cancellation of these degrees should be included in political manifestos. The Samajwadi Party has previously held power in the state, and the Muslim community has supported the party. He suggested that if a university had been established to recognize these degrees earlier, the current crisis might have been avoided.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the appointment of teachers in madrasas and the issue of pensions are critical. Currently, there are unfilled positions in madrasas, and problems related to their approval persist. The lack of new teachers to replace retirees is creating additional challenges for these institutions.
Nazm Ali urged the Samajwadi Party to incorporate these concerns into its manifesto and electoral promises. He believes that a clear commitment to resolving these issues would significantly benefit madrasas if the party were to come to power.
