Akhilesh Yadav Criticizes UP Government for Neglecting Youth and Farmers

Lucknow, May 22: Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party, has criticized the Uttar Pradesh government, led by the BJP, for its lack of significant achievements during its two terms. He accused the government of breaking all records of corruption. Yadav claimed that farmers are being robbed of their crops, the future of the youth is being jeopardized, and women are facing neglect and humiliation.

Speaking to party workers from various districts at the Samajwadi Party headquarters in Lucknow on Friday, Yadav highlighted the deteriorating conditions in education, health, and law enforcement. He alleged that the BJP government has destroyed the primary education system.

Approximately 70,000 schools have been shut down, and many others are seeing zero enrollment. He pointed out that patients in hospitals are not receiving medication or proper treatment, forcing ordinary people to wander in search of help.

Yadav labeled the BJP as a “cunning and arrogant party,” accusing it of betraying democracy. He claimed that the BJP operates more like a gang than a political party, with its supporters occupying land belonging to the poor and providing protection to land mafias.

He stated that the 2027 assembly elections will be crucial for the future of the people of Uttar Pradesh, insisting that the BJP must account for its two decades in power. Yadav asserted that the public is dissatisfied with the BJP government and is ready to eliminate it this time.

He warned party workers to be vigilant, stating that the BJP will employ various tactics to defame the Samajwadi Party, but this time, none of their strategies will succeed. The entire PDA community stands with the Samajwadi Party, and the general public is prepared to remove the BJP from power.

Yadav emphasized that the Samajwadi Party is committed to development and social justice, believing in inclusivity for all sections of society. He accused the BJP of undermining the reservation system and ignoring the rights of the PDA community. He concluded by stating that the people of Uttar Pradesh are eagerly awaiting the 2027 elections to protect the Constitution, democracy, and reservation rights.
