Gandhinagar, May 6: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot has announced a recruitment drive for 13 Assistant Professor positions across various departments on a contractual basis.
The available positions include 2 in Cardiology, 1 in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (FMT), 2 in Gastroenterology, 1 in Neonatology, 2 in Neurosurgery, 2 in Nuclear Medicine, 1 in Ophthalmology, and 2 in Psychiatry.
The online application process commenced on Tuesday, with the deadline set for June 4. Candidates interested in applying are advised to submit their registration forms by 5:00 PM on the last date through the official website.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree such as MD/MS/DM/MCh or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates should possess the necessary qualifications and experience as specified for each position.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 50 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations. Selection will be based on interviews, shortlisting, and document verification, with a monthly salary of ₹1,42,506 for selected candidates.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online. The fee is ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, while SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
