AAPs Saurabh Bhardwaj Calls Emergency Meeting Amid Allegations Against Election Commissioner
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has convened an emergency meeting, citing major plans from the central government and ongoing protests in Delhi.

New Delhi, October 4 (Daily Kiran) : In New Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) president Saurabh Bhardwaj has called for an emergency meeting in response to claims that the central government is planning significant actions. He announced the meeting via social media platform X, urging party officials, legislators, and councilors to gather at the party office.
Bhardwaj wrote on X, “Emergency meeting. The central government is planning something big; therefore, officials are requested to attend the meeting at the party office.”
The meeting is scheduled for noon, involving all district presidents, assembly heads, and ward supervisors. Following this, AAP’s legislators and councilors have been asked to join a second meeting at 3 PM.
This announcement comes amid ongoing protests in Delhi, where demonstrators are demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. They allege irregularities in the Special Intensive Review (SIR) of the voter list.
During the protests held on Sunday, several AAP leaders participated, along with members from CPI(M) and other organizations. Bhardwaj and AAP legislator Kuldeep Kumar were also present, raising concerns about the police’s conduct during the demonstrations.
The upcoming meetings will serve to address both the central government’s actions and the local political climate, as AAP prepares to navigate these pressing issues.
