Mumbai, September 27 (Daily Kiran) : Bollywood’s ‘Mr. Perfectionist,’ Aamir Khan, recently recounted a charming story about his first encounter with actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. During a segment on the talk show “Koffee with Karan,” Aamir revealed that he first saw Kareena when she was just 12 years old, and he found her to be incredibly cute.
When Kareena asked Aamir about his initial impression of her, he reminisced, “I remember a very sweet girl who would sit on the sets of ‘Andaz Apna Apna.’ She would come with her sister, Karisma Kapoor, and watch us intently. I thought she was really cute.”
The conversation took a playful turn when Aamir inquired about the habits of Kareena that might annoy her. She smiled and responded, “Your perfectionist nature. It’s not wrong, but you want everything to be just how you envision it. Until that happens, you’re not satisfied. Sometimes, it can be a bit bothersome.”
Aamir and Kareena have collaborated on several films over the years. Their first appearance together was in the 2009 blockbuster “3 Idiots,” where Aamir played Rancho and Kareena portrayed Pia.
The duo reunited in the 2012 psychological thriller “Talaash: The Answer Lies Within,” directed by Reema Kagti. In this film, Aamir took on the role of Inspector Surjan Shekhawat, while Kareena played the enigmatic Rosie, alongside Rani Mukerji.
Their latest on-screen pairing was in the 2022 film “Laal Singh Chaddha,” a Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood classic “Forrest Gump,” where Aamir starred as Laal Singh Chaddha and Kareena as Rupa D’Souza.
