Dantewada : Maoists have carried out a major attack in Chhattisgarh. 10 DRG jawans and a driver were martyred in the IED blast by Naxalites. Bastar IG Sundar Raj P has confirmed the Naxalite attack and the martyrdom of the jawans.
According to the information, on the information about the presence of Naxalites in Aranpur police station area, DRG force was sent from Dantewada for campaign against Naxalites. While returning after the campaign, Naxalites blasted IED on Aranpur road, as a result of which 10 DRG jawans and 01 vehicle driver who were involved in the campaign were martyred. The jawans were not at all prepared for this sudden horrific explosion.
