Patna, April 18 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that harmony and amity among all sections of the society were well maintained in Bihar. Kumar while interacting with media persons after “Janata Darbar “, said that communal harmony was well maintained in Bihar. The state government had always been putting the administration on alert to check any sort of violence among people on the basis of their creed during festivals, he added. Chief Minister said while reacting to a query regarding violence in various parts of the country during Ram Navami and post-festival violence, said that there was no such thing in Bihar. All disputes among various sections of the society should be removed, he added. Kumar said that people from all comm ties were being given due respect in Bihar. Those involved in rituals in accordance with their faiths could not be indulged in any sort of violence, he added. Chief Minister said that anyone having true faith in his religion would never be involved in disturbing peace. He rubbished the allegation of some ministers of his cabinet making statements that could disturb communal harmony. Kumar, while making an oblique reference to RJD, said that the party was not in power now but it was known to all what used to happen in its regime before 2005. After his government was voted to power, there had been a constant review of law and order to ensure the safety and security of the people besides maintaining communal harmony, he added. KKS ARN
