Auraiya (UP), April 10 : Twenty-one people were injured when a tractor trolley overturned in the Ayana area of the district in Kanpur division on Sunday. Police sources said that 65 people from Manpur village went to the famous Jalaun Mata temple located at Barikapurwa in Kuthaund area. “When the pilgrims were returning back to their village the drivers started a tractor race during which one of the drivers Mangal Singh lost control over the vehicle and the trolley overturned,” they said. After hearing the cries of the injured, residents of Gangdaspur reached the spot and pulled the passengers trapped in the trolley. Station House Officer Ayana Jitendra Yadav sent the injured to comm ty health center. Yadav said, “Total 21 pilgrims have been injured in the incident of which 14 have been referred to Saifai for treatment.” XC AB GK
