39 killed in Ukraine railway station

Kyiv, April 8 : At least 39 people were killed and 87 wounded on Friday after two rockets apparently fired by Russian forces hit a railway station in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk. The station was packed with evacuees, Regional Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said in a Telegram, adding that many of the wounded were in a serious condition. Kyrylenko put the death toll at 39 and that 87 people had been wounded during the shelling. Russia denied its involvement in the strikes. Speaking to reporters, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the Russian armed forces had no missions scheduled for Kramatorsk on Friday. MYK MR
