Goa CM condemns killing of 8 people in West Bengal

Panaji, March 23 : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that the violence that killed more than 8 people in West Bengal on Tuesday was unprecedented and condemnable. In a tweet, he termed the incident as ‘state-sponsored terror’ which is not culture of politics of India. The Chief Minister claimed that there was a total breakdown of law and order in the eastern state. ”It is a state of total breakdown of Law & Order in West Bengal. The violence that killed more than 8 people is unprecedented & condemnable. This kind of state sponsored terror is not the culture of politics in India. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased,” he tweeted. Eight people, including two children, were reportedly found burnt to death in Birbhum district of West Bengal on Tuesday.
