So far 3,379 people brought to Kerala from Ukraine

Thiruvananthapuram, March 14 : So far 3,379 students were brought to Kerala from war-hit Ukraine, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told the State Assembly on Monday. Replying to a Calling Attention motion moved by CK Hareendran, the Chief Minister said the Government will follow the guidelines of the National Medical Commission on the continuation of the studies of the medical students returned from Ukraine. Appreciating the Norka-Roots for making all necessary arrangements for the return of the people from Ukraine, the Chief Minister said Rs 10 crore was earmarked in the State Budget for the welfare of the expatriates. The issues related to the continous education of the medical students will be taken up with the Centre and the National Medical Commission, he added. DS SY 1245
