Deoria (UP), April 19 : Six persons were killed and four others injured when a SUV collided with a bus in Gauri Bazar area in the district. Circle Officer Rudrapur Jilajeet Singh said on Tuesday that the SUV coming from Kushinagar collided with the bus near Pannaha turn in Gauri Bazar area Monday late night. “Ram Prakash, Vashisth, Ankur Pandey, Ramanand Maurya, Ram Samujh and one more person were killed in the accident,” he said. The CO said that four persons were injured in the incident and were admitted to the district hospital. “The victims were coming from a pre-wedding ceremony when the incident took place,” he said. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the death of six persons in the accident. “The CM while expressing his sympathies towards the bereaved families has directed the officials to ensure proper treatment of those injured in the accident,” an official spokesman said.
