Lucknow, March 7 : An estimated 54.18 per cent out of 2.06 crore voters exercised their franchise till 5 pm for 54 seats, spread over nine districts in the seventh, and final phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections on Monday. Additional Chief Electoral Officer BDR Tiwari said that maximum 59.54 per cent votes were polled in Chandauli district, while Azamgarh saw a 52.31 per cent turnout. Among other districts, 54.31 per cent polling was recorded in Bhadohi, 59.54 per cent in Chandauli, 52.73 per cent in Ghazipur, 53.61 per cent in Jaunpur, 55.01 per cent in Mau, 54.95 per cent in Mirzapur, 56.86 per cent per cent in Sonbhadra and 52.95 per cent in Varanasi.
