Panaji, April 6 : The 42nd foundation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was celebrated across Goa on Wednesday. All the party leaders, including Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, party state President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, party’s state General Secretary Satish Dhondh hoisted party’s flag on the occasion. ”On the occasion of 42nd #SthapanaDiwas, hoisted the flag of #BharatiyaJanataParty at my residence in Sankhali. My greetings to all members & Karyakartas for their dedication, commitment and service towards the nation,” Dr Sawant tweeted. He also joined the party workers to watch the address of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali. Satyanarayan Mahapuja was organised at BJP state headquarters in the capital city on the occasion. The Chief Minister greeted all the party workers on occasion, which is being celebrated as SthapanaDiwas. ”Greetings to all members of the Bharatiya Janata Party family on the occasion of the 42nd #SthapanaDiwas. Having won 20 out of 40 seats in the recently held assembly elections in the state, the party is in jubilant mood.
