410 students of HP return safely from war torn Ukraine

Shimla, March 7 : Himachal Pradesh’s 410 students who were stranded in war torn Ukraine have been evacuated and 58 students are still stranded in Sumi, this was stated by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while giving a statement in the state assembly on Monday. Mr. Thakur said all of us are worried about the stranded Indian students. He said operation ‘Ganga’ is evacuating Indian students from the border states of Ukraine and 410 students of Himachal have been rescued so far who returned to state safely. The 58 students are still in Ukraine and other countries and efforts are being made to evacuate them. All students were evacuated from Kharkiv and most of the stranded students are at Sumi, the Chief Minister added. ML SY 1616
