Zomato trades jubilantly as its consolidated net loss narrows to Rs 186 crore in Q1

Zomato is currently trading at Rs. 54.55, up by 8.20 points or 17.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 46.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 50.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 54.90 and Rs. 48.00 respectively. So far 65198358 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 169.10 on 16-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 40.55 on 27-Jul-2022.

Zomato has reported net loss of Rs 138.10 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to net loss of Rs 290.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

However, total income of the company increased by 57.47% at Rs 1,304.30 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 828.30 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 186 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to net loss of Rs 360.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

However, total income of the company increased by 72.59% at Rs 1,582 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 916.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
