
Gorakhpur, June 3: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate and lay the foundation for 71 development projects worth ₹208 crore in Gorakhpur on Tuesday. He shared this information on the social media platform X. CM Yogi stated that this event in the holy city of Gorakhpur, dedicated to Mahayogi Guru Shri Gorakhnath, will accelerate regional development.
The Chief Minister announced that the projects include a flatted factory complex and an EWS-LIG residential complex developed in the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) area. He mentioned that allocation letters for industrial plots and housing will also be distributed during the event.
In his post on X, CM Yogi wrote, “I will participate in the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony of 71 development projects, including the flatted factory complex and EWS-LIG residential complex, developed in the GIDA area at a cost of ₹208 crore.”
He further noted that allocation letters for industrial plots and housing will be distributed. Additionally, certificates will be awarded to youth trained at the NIELIT Skill Center. CM Yogi claimed that these projects will open new opportunities for thousands of young people and will give a fresh impetus to the vision of ‘Self-Reliant Uttar Pradesh.’
Earlier on Tuesday, CM Yogi also announced several development projects worth crores in Kushinagar and Gorakhpur districts. He distributed certificates, approval letters, and financial assistance to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes. In Kushinagar, he inaugurated and laid the foundation for 278 development projects costing over ₹424 crore. In Gorakhpur, he inaugurated various construction works related to the Chiluatala tourism project, developed at a cost of ₹20.35 crore.
