Yediyurappa Aims to Restore BJPs Power in Karnataka

Shivamogga, February 28: Former Chief Minister of Karnataka and member of the Central Parliamentary Committee, B.S. Yediyurappa, has declared that his primary goal in the coming days is to travel across Karnataka and bring the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) back to power in the state.

He made these remarks during a celebration held in his hometown of Shikaripura on the occasion of his 84th birthday.

Yediyurappa emphasized his commitment to restoring the party’s power and appealed for cooperation and support from his followers. He stated that achievements speak for themselves and that mere words should not be considered accomplishments. He expressed confidence that he has made genuine efforts beyond his capacity for the development of marginalized, disadvantaged, and Dalit communities.

He highlighted that the Bhagyalakshmi scheme, initiated during his tenure, has instilled new hope in the lives of millions of girls, providing them with better opportunities.

Yediyurappa asserted that farmers in the state deserve to live with peace, respect, and dignity. He noted that he has prioritized irrigation projects for the welfare of farmers.

His efforts, he stated, are not limited to Shikaripura but aim for the overall development of the entire state. He urged party workers and leaders to root out corruption and work diligently to bring the BJP back to power.

Meanwhile, Tejasvi Surya, National President of the BJP Youth Wing and MP from Bengaluru South, extended his birthday wishes on social media, stating, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to farmer leader and Karmayogi B.S. Yediyurappa, who laid a strong foundation for the BJP in Karnataka by bringing the party to power in South India for the first time.”

Surya further prayed for Yediyurappa’s long life, health, and peace.
