According to a leak shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, Xiaomi plans to introduce the Xiaomi 17 series globally, starting with the Xiaomi 17 and the premium Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
Storage and Color Variants
The standard Xiaomi 17 5G will reportedly be available in two storage configurations: 12GB of RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. The color options for this model are expected to include Black, Blue, and Green.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra 5G, aimed at power users, is said to feature 16GB of RAM with storage choices of 512GB or 1TB. Its color variants are likely to be Black, White, and Green.
Price and Battery Details for the Eurozone
A German retailer listing, spotted by Notebookcheck, indicates that the Xiaomi 17 with 512GB storage could be priced at around €1,099. Given the leak’s suggestion that the 256GB model will serve as the base variant, a starting price near €999 is anticipated.
The same listing reveals some changes in hardware for the global versions. While the Chinese Xiaomi 17 is expected to house a large 7,000mAh battery, the international model may come with a smaller 6,330mAh battery. Despite this reduction, the battery capacity represents a roughly 20 percent increase compared to the previous global model’s 5,240mAh battery and will support 100W fast charging.
Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra globally shortly after the conclusion of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in March.
